Disabled Placards & License Plates

A parking placard or disabled license plate enables those with the greatest mobility challenges to use specially designated parking stalls. To qualify, an individual must be unable to walk more than 50 meters.

Placards are issued to individuals who provide proof of eligibility under the Parking Placards for Persons with Disabilities Program.

Application Process

To apply for a placard, you must have the official application form completed by your physician, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. You can download the form here or pick one up at our office.

Bring the completed form to our office along with your personal identification to have the placard issued. If you are unable to come in person, you may send someone on your behalf with a signed letter of permission authorizing them to receive the placard for you.
